First, we want to thank you to everyone who submitted a nominee for our Best Of 2012 awards. There were a couple clear favorites and a few surprises. From the characters, authors, series, and book covers that were sent to us, we choose 7 nominees for each of the 11 categories.
We ask that you limit voting to once per day. If we receive multiple entries that have the exact same nominees selected within seconds of each other, we will delete those duplicate ballots. We want nominees to win Best Of because that's what they are, not because one fan sat at a computer for an hour straight submitting several dozen of the exact same ballots.
Voting will end on Wednesday, December 19th with the winners being announced Saturday, December 22nd (assuming we'll have all the ballots tallied by then). We'll also be featuring a giveaway during the winner announcement post but you'll have to wait until then for all the details.

Is it possible to add a Not Applicable option? I haven't read any of the books from the villain category, so I don't feel right picking a random villain just so I can submit my other votes.
Krista - We put requirements on all categories because we didn't want everyone just voting in just one of two categories but I understand what you're saying so I made Best Villain and Best Anthology optional categories to vote in since those two are usually the ones people find it hard to pick someone to vote for.

I was a little annoyed that it wouldn't let me skip a category; I hadn't read any of the new series books, so I didn't want to vote for one. I just chose whichever title I like best, since that's all I had to go on. Thanks for having this contest, I love seeing the choices, and I'm especially happy when my favorites are among them!
I agree - this was difficult.
We took off all requirements on the form. We didn't have issue with that in the past but I understand the issue :-)

I read the complete set of Fever books by Karen Marie Moning and thoroughly enjoyed the ride. I've also kept up with the Charley Davidson books and hope there are more of those coming, but quicker!
