Beyond the Blog with Caffeinated Book Reviewer Blog

Welcome to Beyond the Blog, where we'll not only be featuring some amazing blogs but also the creative people behind them. Today we have an interview with Kimberly from Caffeinated Book Reviewer Blog.  Kimberly's site is easy to navigate (can't tell you how grateful we are for that) and a source for people looking for honest reviews and giveaways. Lets get to the interview so you can meet Kimberly for yourself.

Let’s start with a few blog related questions

What 3 words would you use to describe your blog?

Eclectic, Honest, Friendly

What do you like most/least about blogging?

I dislike turning down authors because I am booked.

Have your blogging habits changed since you first started?

Very much so, in the beginning I accepted any ARC that came my way and posted 3 times a week. Now I review and accept books that appeal to me. I also post 7 days a week and have started hosting fun events and created my own meme. Coming up in March I am hosting a Take Control of Your TBR Pile month long event that includes a read-a-thon March 15 to the 18th. In February I am one of five hosts involved in Fiery Hot Reads for Icy Cold Nights. It’s a hop and others can join. Each day we will feature a fiery hot read, author, review, and guest posts. We will also have daily giveaways!

What’s a favorite post that you’ve done?

I interviewed a chaos demon and well swooned a little over him, it was a lot of fun.

Let’s get to know the bloggers behind the blog, shall we?

Can you tell us about where you’re from?

I was born in Haddon Heights NJ and lived there until my youngest was four, then we relocated to Coral Springs Florida, then Virginia Beach, Virginia and now we have settled in Omaha Nebraska. My accent rather interesting, I say “coffee” and “water” like a New Yorker, “ya all” like a southern and in the Midwest a term they like is “youz guys”.

It’s noon on Sunday, what are you up to?

I probably have just finished commenting on about fifty blogs who participate in my weekly meme The Sunday Post. Then I relax with my family. If its football season you will find me reading on the sofa while my family watches the game.

What is something that people might be surprised to know about you?

I am a homebody. Despite my outgoing personality, I prefer the quite sanctuary of my home.

What is your favorite thing to do (aside from reading) in your down time?

Besides spend time with my hubby and three children I like to watch my favorite TV shows! Supernatural, Vampire Diaries, Dexter, Fringe, Doctor Who, The Mentalist, CSI, Castle, White Collar, Haven, Lost Girl and many more. We DVR everything!

If you were to create a bucket list (list of things you’d like to do before you die), what would be in your top 3?

1. Open my own Caffeinated Book Store and Café. This would be a small town bookstore with a little coffee house. It would host book clubs, authors and children’s reading hours. I want to help match books to readers. It would be the type of place you’d like to hang out at, where the owner knows your name and lets you know your favorite author has a book releasing next month.
2. Write my own fiction novel
3. Travel the world, I want to see it all.

You just won your dream vacation, all expenses paid. Where are you going?

My hubby and I want to go on a month long trip to Alaska (which includes a cruise)

Oh, we forgot to mention you get to take your fantasy man with you. So, who are you taking?

Well dang, ok strictly fantasy here and No One tells my hubby (although he is well aware of my crushes) I am taking Jenson Ackles and Ian Somerhalder *I know you said one but it’s my fantasy !!!* Nix Alaska we are going to travel through Europe.

Stephanie and Athenna, thank you for hosting me on Paranormal Haven today. It was fun and I enjoyed all of your questions :-)
