I’ve written seven books for Harpercollins, featuring all sorts of otherworld men: Jaguar Warriors, fallen angels, werewolves, sorcerers, vampires, Seraphim, immortal Templar knights, and some who we don’t quite yet know the origins of.
When I sat down to write the companion novella for this, WRONG SIDE OF HELL, I knew it needed to be set in the world of the League of Guardians. This is a spinoff series from my Jaguar Warriors, here is a little bit of an explanation…
For millennia the struggle between light and dark, between the upper and lower realms, has been policed by a secret group of warriors culled from every fabric of existence. They are both otherworld and human, male and female. They are light and dark themselves and known to each other as the League of Guardians. Their pledge, to protect the line between dominions and make sure neither side grows too powerful. If they fall, so shall the earth, the heavens and hell. And there will be no more.
So for those of you who’ve read my books, you know my men are alpha. Jaxon.
Declan. Nico. Julian. Alpha’s all. I wanted something different and Logan Winters was born. A hellhound. Because really, how could a guy born in fire and brimstone be anything other than a badass? And I love nothing more than a badass meeting his match!
My jaguars each found their mates and some struggled a lot with it. Julian for instance, he and Jaden had so much to go through to find their HEA. Declan? My yummy sorcerer is more of a laid back alpha, one who gave his heart to Ana the vampire a long time ago. Watching him get his HEA was a total blast. But this guy? Logan? He was all hard edges and attitude.
Logan retrieves souls marked for hell and guides them to District Three for processing. But he’d been thrown into the pit as punishment for letting one soul find its way back to the human realm. The pit isn’t a vacation and he’s got a special hate on for this particular person. So when he’s asked by the League to retrieve her from purgatory, well, you can imagine his reaction.
All those things happened in the first novella, and in that book he meets Kira Dove, the only woman who will be able to tame him, and he’s the only one who can save her. So what kind of woman has enough balls to tame someone like Logan? A woman with bigger balls my friends!
A smart, sassy, strong and yet feminine sort who taps into the soul of the beast. I hope you enjoy Logan and Kira as much as I did while writing them and I’d love to know your fave couple to read!
