Places I'd like to visit.....Texas Prairie University (TPU) from Rachel Caine’s Morganville Vampires

I don't know how many times I've read a book and thought, "that's a place I'd visit". Mostly so I can meet the sexy alpha heroes, but sometime it does sound like an interesting place. So I thought I'd pick some of my favorite fictional spots that I wish I could visit and share them with you. For today's post, we're heading to Texas.

   

The place: Texas Prairie University (TPU)

Where it's located:  Morganville, Texas

Why I'd want to visit: If you were to go to Morganville this would be the only part of the city were you, as an outsider would be allowed to visit. TPU is mostly a protected place, meaning that the vamps don’t hunt there. But it still Morganville so no ware is exactly safe. At any given time you can see Eve working the campus coffee shop or Claire rushing off to one of her very advanced classes and on a very good day you might even see the very sexy Michael Glass playing his guitar in the quad area.

Why it's probably a good idea the place doesn't really exist: The entire town is inhabited and ran by vampires once you move in you don’t move out. They have everything a normal town would even taxes except payment for taxes in Morganville is a few pints of blood instead of a few dollars. Once you move into Morganville you don’t move out.

Why I'd still risk going: Even though I would be risking getting stuck in Morganville I would risk it because it seems like an exciting place with a few super sexy males. There is always excitement in Morganville. If it’s not one crises it’s another. It would never get boring there. Plus if I had to choose someone to be at my back at all time it would be the residence of the Glass House, Claire, Shane, Michael, and Eve. They are always loyal and will have your back no matter the cost to themselves as long as you are worthy of such loyalty, even sometime when you are not.
