5 Favorite Books (so far) of 2012

Now that 2012 is halfway over, we decided to go back and recap what have been our favorite reads so far this year.  What are your favorites?

Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh (Read Review) - I finished catching up with this series at the beginning of the year and as far as I was concerned this book could not be released soon enough. I'm offically a Psy-Changeling addict!

Lethal Rider by Larissa Ione (Read Review) - Not only was this book awesome, the cover is my favorite of the series.

Oracle's Moon by Thea Harrison (Read Review) - This is my favorite book in the series since Dragon Bound. Everything was right about the relationship between Grace and Khalil.

Once Burned by Jeaniene Frost (Read Review) - Vlad of course was amazing and Leila is the perfect woman to go toe to toe with the legend. Sure, I would have liked the ending to be wrapped up nicely but I was satisfied and book 2 is on my list of most desired books of 2013.

Born of Silence by Sherrilyn Kenyon (No Review) - I wasn't sure if I'd like this one. The hero Darling wasn't a big player in the series, not to mention we were told he's gay, and I knew nothing about the heroine Zarya. After 624 intense and heartbreaking pages, I was reminded why I love Sherrilyn Kenyon so much.

Immortal Hope by Claire Ashgrove (Read Review) - The knight of the Templar are sexy alpha males. I loved every moment of the book, wail falling in love with each of the knights. sexy steamy romance mixed with a little humor whats not to love. This book surprised me how good it was. I was not in the mood to review a book i just wanted to read something else anything else but i had to read this one. But once i started it , I couldn't put it down. This is my favorite read this year so far.

Wicked As They Come by Delilah Dawson (Read Review) - This one was my first venture into Steam Punk and i loved it after the first chapter i was hooked. The story was amazing and very different. The hero was not your normal hero he had a special spark to him. Loved this book it is a close second in my favorites this year.

The Wolf Who Loved Me by Lydia Dare (Read Review) - I had not read a historical paranormal before but this one was very good. I loved the characters, i loved the era it just was so simple and sexy. It made me go by all the other books in the series and read them.

Lothaire by Kresley Cole (Read Review) - I am a sucker for the bad guy, so it was not a far stretch that I would fall for Lothaire and love his book. It was way better than i expected.

Lover Reborn by J.R. Ward (Read Review) - JR Ward , Black Dagger Brotherhood, do I really need to explain myself?

Beauty by Sheri S. Tepper (Read Review) - A re-telling of Sleeping Beauty, that isn't what you think. It is a fantasy-romantic-time traveling-dystopian-adventure all rolled into one fabulous tale!

The Drowning Girl by Caitlin R. Kiernan (Read Review) - Kiernan's prose and style left me breathless! I found a favorite author this year!

Destined for an Early Grave by Jeaniene Frost (Read Review) - I love the Night Huntress series, and have been trying to read more of them. This might be my favorite so far!

Sins of the Son by Linda Poitevin (Read Review) - I can't wait to read more from this series. I am usually not one for heaven vs. hell stories, but I really enjoyed this one.

Curses!: A F**ked up Fairy Tale by J.A. Kazimer (Read Review) - If someone made me describe it in one word it would be 'hilarious!' A funny twist on fairy tales that was a lot of fun!

Lothaire was amazing loved it, might just be my fave out of all of them but I think of Bowen :).

I am so far behind on Larissa's books I love this series though.

As for Sherrilyn Kenyon, not sure why I haven't read this series maybe because I am stuck in with the Dark Hunters.
