After moving into her ancestral home Jane accepts Gabriel’s proposal, in hopes to settle down and have a normal relationship. Well as normal as two vampires can get. But with Jane, nothing is ever normal. This time Jane really has her hands full. If she can survive the new teenage vampire she just sired, find the crazy person who shot Gabriel, avoid her grandma’s ghost who's hell bent on evicting her from her home, and planning a wedding.
This book was fun and light hearted. It was a quick easy read. A very similar read to Mary Janice Davidson’s “Queen Betsy” series.
Jane is quick witted with a smooth humor, but she is not the brightest crayon in the box. She has a knack for finding trouble, so it’s no surprise when her wedding doesn't quite go as planned. Gabriel is funny in a dry humor sort of way. He loves Jane and will do anything to protect her, even from the new teenage-vampire who seems to have a young crush on his newly betrothed.
They have some interesting friends that add to the fun loving humor of the book. Overall the book was a smooth quick read. Not exactly what I was expecting, but it wound up being a good read.
There's not a big romance or any heated scenes. There are a few sex scenes but they are not hot and steamy like I like them. There was a lot of sarcastic humor to replace it. I'm not sure I’ll continue the series even though it was a funny quick read, I'm not sure it was quite my taste.

Nice review Athenna, I have not read this author yet. I did give up on the Queen Betsy books years ago.
I'm sorry it wasn't quite for you. It's difficult sometimes. I really enjoyed the three first books and now I'm very curious to read this one as well (well, I confess I have quite forgotten the story...). Thanks for the review.
I have only read her werewolf books and I so need to start her Jane books. Even though it didn't blow you away, it sounds like a fun read when I'm in the mood for a light paranormal! Thanks!
Thanks guys. Yeah it wasn't bad but like Melissa said it just didn't blow me away..
She did an excelent job recaping I didn't feel lost in the story at all since I had not read the.first 3 ..
Thanks ,
Athenna
