Fright Night Giveaway

Fright Night
Opens August 19, 2011
Cast includes Anton Yelchin, Colin Farrell and David Tennant and is directed by Craig Gillespie

Charley (Anton Yelchin) is a high-school senior who's in with the "in" crowd and dating Amy (Imogen Poots), the most sought-after gal on campus. But trouble enters his world in the form of Jerry Dandridge (Colin Farrell), a charismatic new neighbor. After witnessing some unusual activity next door, Charley concludes that Jerry is a vampire. I'm almost afraid to see this remake. The original Fright Night is my all time favorite movie, and even though this movie doesn't look like it follows the script word for word, I'm hoping it's really good. I have not seen it yet, but I know I'm not gonna be able to stop myself. lol

My feelings are mixed on this remake. I loved the original and so far the trailer isn't really capturing the essence at all. I'm not expecting an exact word for word interpretation or anything, more like I want this version to do justice to what I consider a really cool vampire flick. That isn't to say that the Colin Farrell version doesn't look good because it does. Do you see my conflict? I'm hoping to see it soon but I might have to wait until DVD.

How did I not know about this remake. I loved the original, so I do want to check this one out. Problem is, I have a hard time finding people to go watch horror movies with me.

Oh fun giveaway! I am a big chicken when it comes to horror, but not as much with paranormal horror. Go figure... :P I do want to see this one. I'm in the same boat as Missie.

I plan on watching it but I've seen the trailers everywhere. I'm glad to see Colin Farrell again. He's so sexy and he plays a great bad boy in all his movies, plus the fact that his accent always has me weak in the knees lol
Thanks for hosting this giveaway!! =)

I saw it today and thought it was awesome! The surprise cameo was hilarious and David Tennant was perfect in his role. I highly recommend it!

As much as I'd love to go see this flick, I probably won't get to. The hubby doesn't like taking me to see Colin Farrel movies as I completely forget that the hubby is even in the room. And the idea of Colin nibbling on a neck.....OMG!!! Then throw David Tennant in there too??? Maybe I'll have to take my daughter (she's 18) to see this one. Oh my, oh my, oh my. :)
