Lexington or Lexie as she prefers to be called is muscle for hire and has been hired to protect a lab geek for the weekend. She is to pretend that she is interested in him. She believed this would be an easy job, acting like she was into this scientist but what she quickly found out was that with Anthony Savelll there was no need to act like she wanted him. He is able to do things to her most humans cannot, her lust for him just does not seem to have an off button, she just can’t get enough of him. Even her wolf wants him, but she knows she can't keep him he is human she could hurt him. If he knew what she really was she is sure he’d run away screaming from her.
The story was short sweet and action packed. Lexie was a little crude with her way of sexy talk to Anthony bit he seemed to enjoy it. I loved how you watch Anthony grow in this novella, he starts out as this timid shy unapproachable nerd but he grows in to this sexy man. There are lots of hot and steamy scenes, who know a scientist would have such a sexy appetite.
Fredrick is an interesting side character; it feels there may be more to this guy than just this story. The hot sexy scenes are great and there were plenty of them. There was a nice balance of action and romance. As with all of Eve's books I've read, I enjoyed this one, she has yet to disappoint.

I love stories that feature geeky heros and strong women. Geeks are just as cute as the typical alpha males and don't get enough screen time.
