After the binding fiasco were, jack refused to bond with Mimi and ran away with Schuyler to find the secretes Lawrence Van Alen had been keeping, everything went from bad to worse.

Shuyler and Jack constantly dodging the Venators that were sent too retrieve him. Then they find, out there is a group of humans guarding the gate. Which makes no since to them since the silver bloods and the blue bloods would never trust something so important to the hands of the red bloods. Then on their way to verify that the gate is indeed were they thought it to be they found out that recently a few women have gone missing, in fact one of the towns young maddens has disappeared . Of course Jack and Schuyler have to help. They fell they must find this woman, but what they find with her just gives them more questions than they had when they started this journey.

Mimi is beside herself, after being embarrassed and denied at the bonding ceremony by jack and then losing Kingsly its almost too much to bear. As the acting Regis she has he hands full and now with this video of a young vampire kidnapped and the threats to expose their world . She must quit her search and revenge for Jack and focus all her attention and find these traitors who captured vampires and get the vampires back before they are killed.

This book had a lot going on, there was a few trips to the past that confused me till she brought it back in towards the end. This is a book you really have to pay attention or you will lose what's going on. I was a little disappointed I felt like the big problem from the previous books was barley touched on and then all of the sudden we have a new problem that is after them. I hope it all comes around in the end. But i do love the cover it is beautiful. I do enjoy the characters so i have to continue on and see how everything turns out for them. I must say i did like Mimi a little better in this series she showed a bit more intelligence than before. She seems to have real feelings not just the ones of a spoiled brat not getting her way. I like the new alliance Oliver and Mimi made. But I am still sad for Oliver because he lost Schuyler and he's all Alone. But I love jack and can't wait to see what happens next with him and Schuyler .

I am still in the air about this series. Part of me wants to pick up but the other part says you have 50 bajillion things on your TBR list (dont' think that is ever going down LOL)

I haven't read this book yet, I read all the other ones and it was a little to juvenile for me so I am on the fence if I should continue or not.

On a side note the top follower widget is cracking me up. Every time I post a comment my count goes down. I went from like 40 something comments to not even on the top. Haha all well I'm still going to keep commenting anyways :)

I was totally shock by Oliver and Mimi, never did I think that would happen. I loved this book. I hope everything could work out for everyone. Nice review :)

Nice review, I've been looking forward to this for awhile. While it switches perspective a little too often for my taste, this is still one of my favorite YA series.
